I don’t believe your poll is recording accurately. I just voted for cover 2 and the result is still 0 votes for it. Cover 2 looks more like the cover of a craft magazine, with the crocheted shawl highly visible. Cover 1 looks like any Good Housekeeping, Martha Stewart, Family Circle, Real Simple, etc cover, with only a tiny shawl visible.
