Halloween is nearly upon us and we at CrafterNews could not be more excited! Not only have we been putting finishing touches on our crafty costumes, but in the spirit of the Halloween season, we’ve also teamed up with our sister sites, Books for Better Living, Crown Publishing, Read it Forward, and The Recipe Club, to ask our authors: What five things terrify you the most?
Participating authors could interpret “terrify” however they wanted. And of course, we encouraged them to get creative!

On Thursday, September 20th, CrafterNews joined toy designer and author Anna Hrachovec as she returned to Lion Brand Yarn Studio in New York City for a super-scary (but super-cute) talk and book signing to celebrate the release of her newest book, Super-Scary Mochimochi.
- Crafternews + Vogue Knitting Live = One Great Time!
Vogue Knitting Live took place in New York City on January 14-16, and yarn lovers of all stripes took over the Hilton Hotel in midtown Manhattan. Knitters and crocheters from up and down the Eastern seaboard came to attend the gala dinner, attend classes and workshops, sample new yarns at the yarn tasting bar, and learn new skills at the beginner’s bar.
