DIY Wedding Photos and Bride-to-Be Giveaway

December is the most popular time of year for engagements, according to Brides magazine. If you were one of the 18 percent of couples who were engaged this holiday season (or know a recently engaged couple), we have a treat for you!

First, as promised, we are sharing photos from the wedding of our in-house, DIY bride! In the six weeks leading up to her wedding, Emily shared a series of wedding crafts that she created for her big day. We now have Emily’s photos, and you will have an opportunity to see how gorgeous these budget-friendly handmade crafts can look on your big day!

Second, in honor of the 18 percent of couples who were engaged in December, we are giving away a copy of The Bride-to-Be Book, designed for brides who want to preserve all the magic and excitement leading up to and including the big day.

To win, share a few details of your proposal, or the proposal of a bride-to-be that you know, in the comment section below.

I was proposed to on Christmas Eve at the place where my parents had their first date. My family means everything to me and it was in my favorite city so it was absolutely perfect!

Jeff planned out a two week vacation for us in Ireland. We were planning on staying in different bed and breakfasts during our travels. He surprised me with a stay in a five star hotel that was once a beautiful castle. After being treated to a massage at the spa, we were admiring the view and he proposed. It was so romantic to be proposed to in a castle.
