Summer is in the air, which means it’s time to hit the road and check out some of our favorite craft fairs. There is something going on almost every weekend, all over the country. So celebrate handmade and pick up a few new treasures from some amazing artisans and independent crafters!

4th: Craft-O-Matic, St. Louis, MO
The St. Louis Craft Mafia hosts this department store–style indie craft event.

11th–12th: Renegade Craft Fair Brooklyn, Brooklyn, NY
You’ll definitely find us at this sprawling show, part of a series of Renegade Craft Fairs held across the country.

11th–12th: Indie Craft Experience, Atlanta, GA
ICE showcases 100+ of the best indie crafters around.

12th: THREAD, Los Angeles, CA
This show offers the best in emerging designers and independent fashion.

19th: Boston Bazaar Bizarre Union Made, Somerville, MA
A craft event run by the craft community, for the craft community.

25th: Pile of Craft, Baltimore, MD
Local and national vendors, hosted by the Charm City Craft Mafia.

25th–26th: Chatty Crafty, Chattanooga, TN
A juried show, featuring traditional crafting with unconventional methods.

9th–10th: Renegade Craft Fair SF, San Francisco, CA
Part of the RCF network, celebrating creative, indie entrepreneurship.

9th–10th: Urban Craft Uprising Summer Show, Seattle, WA
Seattle’s biggest independent craft show, providing unique handcrafted goods.

16th–17th: Renegade Craft Fair LA, Los Angeles, CA

30th: Maker Faire Detroit 2011, Detroit, MI
Science, art, crafts, and engineering come together in this family-friendly showcase.
