How to Carve a Rubber Stamp and Yellow Owl Workshop Giveaway |
|
San Francisco–based artist Christine Schmidt, of Yellow Owl Workshop, is reassuring about the occasional “oops” that can occur while working a project and reminds us that “perfection can as often as not come from the imperfection of a piece. She says, “Once people lose the idea that everything has to be perfect-looking, it’s so much less stressful and more fun.”
Christine’s encouraging guidance and insider tricks, along with her truly unique yet easy-to-follow projects, makes Print Workshop an excellent book for anyone who might want to learn how to screen print a T-shirt, create their own stationery set, or make their own stamps and stencils at home—no fancy studio required.
In this awesome video, she shows you how to roll up your sleeves and carve a rubber stamp.
