“Yarn to Dye For” Project by Potter Craft Assistant Editor, Caitlin Harpin

When the new revised edition of Jenny Dean’s classic guide to dyeing, Wild Color, arrived in our offices, my curiosity was piqued. Each page showed luscious spectrums of rich colors, all derived from flowers, bark, and leaves. I wondered, could I create my own custom-dyed yarn? Potter Craft at the Vogue Knitting Live! Show

We’re excited to share a slideshow of photo highlights from the first annual Vogue Knitting Live! show, which was held at the Hilton Hotel in New York City Friday, January 21 through Sunday, January 23. The show was a resounding success, offering attendees a crowded show floor of more than 50 vendors that also featured many fun events, including fashion shows of inspiring designs sponsored by Vogue Knitting magazine, several yarn companies, and noted designers.
