Contest: Show Us Your Baby Knits

Let’s face it: from the little cutie on the Gerber jar to that pumpkin on the subway you make faces at to liven up your commute, we all love babies! In Vintage Knits for Modern Babies (Ten Speed Press, October 2009), Hadley Fierlinger—owner and designer of the stylish baby knitwear label ShesCraftyKnits.com—has collected twenty-five vintage-inspired patterns for bibs, bonnets, booties, blankets, and more. There are projects for knitters of all skill levels, so even beginner knitters will be able to find the perfect project to keep tots toasty and comfortable.

To celebrate the launch of Vintage Knits for Modern Babies, we’re holding a contest. CrafterNews is looking for photos of your modern babies sporting knitwear made by hand and made with love. Haley will judge the photos and award the winner an autographed copy of the book as well as the pattern for her Hooded Cardigan. All entries will be featured on the CrafterNews Flickr and the winning entry will run in our February edition of CrafterNews.

Please email all entries to CrafterNews@randomhouse.com by January 9, 2010; please include 1) your name, 2) physical mailing address, and 3) the name and source of the pattern for the knit.
